Tools You’ll Need:
Steel measuring tape (avoid cloth tapes—they stretch)
Pen/pencil
Notebook or phone to note down sizes
A small step stool (if the window is high)

Step 1: Decide Your Mount Type

Step 2. Measurements
Measure for Recess Fit
Width
Measure inside the frame from left to right
Take 3 measurements: top, middle, and bottom
Use the smallest width for accuracy
Height
Measure from top of recess to sill
Take 3 measurements: left, center, and right
Use the tallest height
Measure for Face Fit
Width
Add 10–15 cm extra on each side of the frame
→ Example: If window is 100 cm wide, enter 120–130 cm
Height
Add 10–15 cm above the frame for top clearance
Measure till where you want the blind to stop

Final Checklist:
- Write all measurements in centimeters
- Double-check all sizes
- Always round down for recess fit, up for face fit
- Mark clearly which room the measurements are for
- Decide on chain/cord side (left or right) during order
